..........with Mike Gill on Monday 17 September. The car treasure hunt will begin at Weldspray, Wheal Honey, Menheniot between 6.30 and 7.00 p.m.. Cars will start at 5-minute intervals (to avoid cheating!), times to be allocated by Roy Vass at the next Club meeting. Supper will be served at 8.30 p.m. at St Martins Church Hall, Looe. There will not be a licensed bar so BYO drinks.

6 August Sound Bytes - an Audio Appreciation Evening hosted by Peter Bartram. Bring your favourite audio snippets to share with the Club.

20 August Gin Palace - a visit to the Plymouth Gin Distillery. Meet at the distillery at 18.20 for a tour followed by a drink in the cocktail lounge. £7.00 per person, full details from Roy Vass.
If you can't wait until then try a Tom Collins:

• 2 shots Plymouth Gin
• 1 shot freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 3/4 shot sugar syrup
• soda water
• garnish with a lemon slice

August Diary Dates

The postponed sponsored walk from Hannafore to Talland Bay (and/or back) will now take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th August. Departure times will be between 10.30 and 12.00. Proceeds will be donated to Shelter Box and St John Ambulance, who will be in attendance. Contact Barrie Pipkin for further details and sponsor forms.
