Christmas Spectacular

Last weekend Ann and I drove to Thursford, N. Norfolk, in our camper to an ICFR Rally. The highlight of the trip was to visit the Thursford Collection and the Christmas Spectacular - a 3-hour variety show of excellent entertainment value, fit to rival anything in London's West End. Presentation Evening Monday 6 October

RYLA Candidate Ellie Jenkins received her certificate from President Nick and spoke about her experiences and achievements on this year's course. We all agreed that she was a worthy candidate and wish her well for the future.



The 2008 Vocational Award was made by President Nick to Martin Tucker in recognition of his 14 years service at the ECHO Centre in Liskeard.

Bocadden Barbecue

Some 30 members and wives enjoyed the hospitality of Nick and Alison Maiklem at their barbecue on Monday - some of us even swam! Judging by the photos, some serious issues were under discussion.
